What Happy Customers Are Saying

“I would definitely recommend this course to new or existing leaders and managers.”

Bernard N., Operations Manager, Canada

Even though I have been in leadership for a number of years, I was able to take away new strategies not only for myself, but for the leadership around me. It was also nice to spend time on self-reflection, which is something that most people don’t regularly prioritize.

Alisha M., Director, Michigan USA

The course modules were well organised and I was able to stay in contact with Ben during the course via the lesson comments or email – this was really helpful for me.

Your Questions Answered

How Do I Complete the Online Course?2022-07-13T16:10:51+08:00

The course is hosted on Podia, a secure online learning platform. You’ll be given access as soon as you enrol.

Using this platform, you’ll be able to access everything you need to complete the exercises and you can also leave comments and ask questions along the way.

Teachable saves your progress as you go, and you can go at your own pace. I recommend completing a module every 1 or 2 weeks so you have time to work on the exercises as you go.

How long do I need to spend on the course each week?2022-06-19T10:21:28+08:00

I recommend spending a few hours per week, and trying to complete one module each week.

Some of the exercises in the course involve bringing the course material into your day to day working life and trying things out, so these can take longer.

The exercises also involve some self-reflection, which I feel is a very important part of building confidence. So slow down, take your time and don’t rush!

Isn’t confidence different for everyone? How do you cater for this?2022-06-19T10:22:41+08:00

Great question! Yes, people feel a lack of confidence for many reasons – there really is no “one size fits all” solution for building confidence.

However, this course starts by setting a foundation for building confidence. The first two modules focus on understanding confidence and doing a self-assessment of where you’re at – and the third module gives you specific tools for working through common leadership situations, such as handling difficult conversations, for example.

The exercises are designed for you to apply the course material to your role and workplace – carrying out the exercises will raise your self-awareness and help you take action in your specific situation.

Can this Course really improve my confidence?2022-06-19T10:13:28+08:00

Obviously, improving confidence takes time and repetition. That is, trying new things, failing and succeeding. Some people grow in confidence faster than others.

One thing to keep in mind is that you will almost *never* feel completely confident. Leadership is tough and even the very greatest leaders will experience uncertainty and doubt. The difference is that these leaders still take action. They don’t wait to feel completely confident – they take action and feel more confident on the other side.

The objective of this course is to help you take action, which will gradually help you to improve your confidence over time. We aren’t aiming for 100% confidence, which doesn’t really exist. Instead, we are looking to help you feel confident enough to take the actions you need to take.

This course takes you through a series of exercises which help you to:

  • Identify the areas which cause you to feel vulnerable (where you lack confidence)
  • Identify areas where you’d like to be better – to improve your performance
  • Work on your personal challenges and identify strategies to overcome them
  • Develop strategies to improve your resilience and strengthen your mindset for the future.

In other words, this course sets you a great foundation for building confidence. Yes, you will feel more confident and in-control after the course, but you will also have tools and techniques to help you move forward and improve even further after the course is over!

Probably the most important benefit of the course is that it will raise your awareness of how you feel and respond in different situations – so you’ll be able to overcome your challenges a whole lot easier and be the leader you want to be.
