There are many topics that leaders generally use the journal for.

If you can think of a positive or negative event that happened to you at work, then you can use it for that!

Here are a few examples:

  • Better interactions with team members – sometimes you’ll have an interaction with a team member that doesn’t go so well. Reflection can help you process what has happened and help you improve for next time.
  • Building positive relationships – good relationships can make your job much easier, and more rewarding. Reflection can help you understand yourself and your feelings towards others, which can help you to build trust and respect.
  • Building confidence – leaders tend to feel more confident when they reflect on how they could improve, because they feel as if they are more in control of their situation.

Although this journal was originally designed for work situations, there is also nothing stopping you from using it in your personal life too.
